The owners enlisted Studio-AMA to help them design a rear addition and partial interior remodel, including a full renovation of the expanded kitchen/dining area, a new master suite with walk-in closets and master bathroom, and a new powder room adjacent to the family room.
The expanded kitchen/dining area opens up to the backyard via a folding glass wall to connect the indoors to the outdoors. An awning window with gas struts above the kitchen sink further connects the kitchen to the backyard. The flat panel kitchen cabinets, white marble slab countertops, and backsplash lend the space a clean, modern feel. Ample countertop space, including an island and a built-in wet bar, complete the owner’s desire for a spacious, functional kitchen.
The master suite addition features cathedral ceilings and a spa-like bathroom with a walk-in shower and freestanding tub.
